Reyada Centre graduates third batch of the Management Development Program

Sharjah, February02, 2015: Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, “Reyada centre – learning & development” celebrated the third Management Development Program (MDP) graduation after its first launch two years ago in association with GGC consultations. The ceremony was held at The Executive Office of Her Highness in Sharjah. The graduation was attended by Fatima Al Shehi, Director Manager of Reyada, Avatar Gill, Senior Partner in GGC, Directors and Graduates from Her Highness’s organizations.
MDP started to fulfil Her Highness’s vision in empowering officials in all of her organizations. The program trained 11 managers & supervisors from different organizations for a year to give them the opportunity to develop and practice their management & leadership skills. Fatima Al Shehhi, welcomed and greeted the audience, and thanked Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher for her endless support for education. Also, she thanked her for her interest to develop the employee’s skills, and praised Her Highness’s role in investing in the human.
“Today we are pleased to be here, celebrating the third batch of the Management Development Program graduates and after this long journey, we assure they have learnt a lot, so they can give the most & the best in their career life. I know how great it is the feeling to graduate especially after the hard efforts you have been giving during the program. However, the most important thing now is implementing what you learnt professionally and perfectly in” Fatima Al Shehhi said.
In conclusion, she thanked the graduates for their commitment to the training program, ambition and determination.
Reyada cooperates with MDP to introduce complex issues involved in management, and build the foundation skills necessary for successful people managing at any level. Some of the key topics covered include motivation, leadership style, understanding & developing your team, conflict handling, delegation and coaching. MDP’s aim is that every participant should leave with a solid, practical skills base, and also a specific action plan in relation to their team or prospective teams.
Sheikha Al Shamsi, Assistant Manager at Sharjah Girls Guides & one of the graduates, expressed her experience in the program where she believe that the courses and the exercises they’ve practiced are enough to face the challenges, which will encourage them to be the best in the future.
“What I loved about the program is that it encourages the participants to be themselves and gain an insight of their personalities and characteristics. It provided us with skills and tools to use on in our daily routine. It also encourages us to think of ourselves and face different challenges. Looking back, today we are very proud of the development, which we reached after joining the program”, said Sheikha Al Shamsi.
In this context, Avtar Gill pointed out the importance of MDP and how it will lead the graduates toward a change which will have the best impact on their professional and personal life.
In the end, Fatima Al Shehhi and Mr. Avtar Gill distributed the certificates to the graduates, wishing them luck and further progress in their careers.
